MedBridge Home Medical is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for our busy home medical office. As a therapist you will be responsible for set-up, delivery, pickup and maintenance of various types of home medical equipment.  You will also have some administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  1. Deliver RT equipment to client's homes.
  2. Demonstrate and explain RT equipment in the client's home and do appropriate documentation.
  3. Provide ongoing client visits for equipment maintenance and care planning.
  4. Maintain good relations with clients.
  5. Pick up and clean equipment as required.
  6. Maintain daily route and work sheet.
  7. Assist in resolving client equipment problems under emergency conditions when appropriate.
  8. Assume on-call responsibilities in accordance with company policy.
  9. Perform routine preventive maintenance and simple repairs on equipment as required.
  10. Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy.

Educational Requirements

Current state license – maintain CEUs as required by the licensing body or professional organization Attend Center inservices – minimal of 6 hours per year

Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid Drivers License
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
  • Certified and/or Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Licensed by the State.
  • One-year home medical equipment experience preferred.
